After morning rounds, we repaired to the Gaborone Sun Hotel with former Penn fellow-residents, Jack Schmidt and Rita Watson, physicians in NJ who are parents of one of the medical residents who has been here for the past 6 wks. After lunch, we played 9 holes (it was rather hot...lots of water taken in) and had a very nice time.As this was the last night in Gaborone for Jack and Rita's children, there was a brai (BBQ) in the back yard. Great time had by all.
We'll stay put this weekend and do more local exploring.
